Jacksonville Middle School seventh-graders release a horde of balloons bearing their drug-free pledges into the sky Friday afternoon. The balloon release came near the end of the district’s Red Ribbon Week activities, a week of anti-drug educational messages.

Model U.N. gives students a global perspective
Bullard students participated in the Model United Nations competition, where students debate world topics from the perspectives of other countries, such as Sweden.
Last week, delegates from over 40 countries met in Kilgore to discuss important issues within their borders.
