Karen Ray of Thompson’s Produce sets up her pumpkin display at the corner of Zimmerman and West Rusk across from the post office Thursday. The pumpkin patch opens today for the kids and will include a clown and face painting. She said they trekked all the way to Floydada in West Texas to pick up the pumpkins, including two weighing about 100 and 200 pounds respectively.

Bullard students participated in the Model United Nations competition, where students debate world topics from the perspectives of other countries, such as Sweden.
Last week, delegates from over 40 countries met in Kilgore to discuss important issues within their borders.
