JACKSONVILLE —
Cherokee County Public Health will offer flu shots for less than half-price today from 7 a.m. until noon and from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the public health department in Jacksonville.
Cost is $9 and a donation of a canned good.
The cost for children is $9 and a canned good for children with private insurance. CCPHD does not bill private insurance plans at this time, but will provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance company if you wish.
Vaccines for children who qualify for the Texas Vaccines for Children program are $7. Vaccines for children with CHIPS or Medicaid are at free but you must bring your card with you.
Vaccines for adults are $9 and a canned good per adult. Vaccines for adults with medicare Part B are at no cost with a photo ID, Medicare card and supplemental insurance.
All canned goods will be donated to H.O.P.E. of Jacksonville.
