Weekend events raise funds, awareness

Men don high heels to support center

JACKSONVILLE — Clad in varying shapes, styles and sizes of high-heeled shoes, about 30 men in Cherokee County showed a commitment to the Crisis Center of Cherokee and Anderson Counties by walking a mile in a woman's shoes.
