Shooting at Austin Bank

Details still sketchy about incident

JACKSONVILLE —

JACKSONVILLE — Details of the incident were sketchy Friday evening, but a woman was apparently shot during an incident in the drive through area of Austin Bank, 200 East Commerce Street, according to initial reports.

The identity and age of the woman was not immediately confirmed.

As of Friday evening she was about to be taken for treatment to Tyler by helicopter ambulance.

It was unclear if there were any arrests or the exact nature of the incident. Jacksonville Police officers were on the scene and could not immediately be reached to comment.
