JACKSONVILLE —
Heidi Tyler, the Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace clerk, is accused of stealing thousands from the county. Morris said she has been placed on administrative leave while the investigation is ongoing.
“We in the office are highly disappointed and obviously very upset and very frustrated,” Morris said. “We would never have expected this kind of thing to happen.”
Morris added he believes the full details of the case will be revealed in the investigation.
“I fully believe the public has a right to know all the details of what their government is doing,” he said.
No arrests have been made in this case as of press time, officials stated.
