JACKSONVILLE — Jacksonville students gather in the Norman Activity Center Thursday as part of the Chamber’s sixth annual Job Shadow Day. The 113 students who signed up for a job-shadowing experience heard from one of last year’s students who participated in the event as well as Lucy Farmer, a former Jacksonville High School teacher and counselor who has worked with the Texas Education Agency and currently serves as an education consultant in the field of mathematics. Students who participated were eligible for door prizes awarded at the luncheon, and some were interviewed by JHS for use on the school’s in-house productions.
