The voting experience

Mattox shows off her technological prowess by casting an electronic vote Saturday. Early voting continues through 5 p.m. Friday. Polling locations include the Jacksonville Senior Citizens Center, 302 S. Bolton, Jacksonville; the Cherokee County Courthouse in downtown Rusk; and the A. Frank Smith United Methodist Church, 103 Cooper St., in Alto. Polls are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
