Here ducky, ducky!

Volunteers with the Crisis Center of Anderson and Cherokee Counties corral errant ducks as the second annual Great East Texas Duck Race prepares to get underway Saturday afternoon at Lake Jacksonville. Despite the summer heat and a slight technical malfunction, event officials said they’re more than pleased with this year’s crowd participation. See page A12 for more Duck Race photos.
