Norman Hearne, a tutor with the Jacksonville Literacy Council, works with a client and her daughter. The client has been coming to Hearne to learn the English language for more than five years. JLC’s 15 volunteer tutors teach classes for about 100 students each week. "See the story in Local News."

Model U.N. gives students a global perspective
Bullard students participated in the Model United Nations competition, where students debate world topics from the perspectives of other countries, such as Sweden.
