JACKSONVILLE —
Carie Leigh Roland and Owen Michael Stanfill, both of Tyler, were married at twilight July 10, 2010 on the Veranda at Larissa House in Jacksonville.
The Honorable Judge Dwight Phifer, officiated the twilight ceremony below an oak tree, decorated in fresh flowers and satin ribbons.
Carie is the daughter of Kevin and Patti Roland of Mesquite, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Dolly Gaines of Garland, and Barbara Luckett of Mesquite, and of the late Lee Gaines of Garland, Jo Luckett of Mesquite, and Bill Roland of Dallas.
Owen is the son of Eric & Kathleen Stanfill of Jacksonville. He is the grandson of Eve Stanfill and Carol and Jimmy H Staton of Jacksonville, the late Hugh Owen of Houston, and CL and Pat Stanfill of Oklahoma City, Ok.
Matron of honor was Shanda Moorman of Mesquite. Maid of honor was Joni Roland of Mesquite.
Bridesmaid was Callie Willeford of Mesquite.
Best man was Josh Long of Tyler. Groomsmen were Brandon Partain of Nacogdoches and Luke Canter of Jacksonville.
Ushers were Kevin Wood, Bryan Williams and Aaron Ousley of Jacksonville, Brian Johnson of Houston, and Colby Butterfield of Edmond, Ok.
House Party members were Matt Moorman and Kaleb Lambeth of Mesquite.
Reception was held following the ceremony at Larissa House. Rehearsal dinner was hosted at the Lake Jacksonville home of Carol & Jimmy Staton the evening before the wedding.
Following an extended cross country honeymoon to Las Vegas, the Napa Valley and Seattle, the couple will reside in Juneau, Alaska.
