That contest should tip off at 6 p.m., following a girl's game between the two conference rivals.
A Hornet win on Friday would give New Summerfield (8-0 in District 21-A-I) a two-game lead (and the loop's crown) over second-place Alto with only one regular-season game left to be played next week.

Brook Hill used a three run sixth inning to get past Bryan Brazos Christian, 7-5, in the TAPPS 3A State Championship baseball game that took place in Waco Wednesday afternoon.
Brook Hill and Bryan Brazos Christian are tied (2-2) after four and a half innings in the TAPPS Class 3A Champinship game, which has been moved to Waco from Belton due to inclement weather.
Field conditions have improved at Mary Hardin Baylor University in Belton and baseball is being played.
