Darby to be introduced at New Summerfield game Friday

NEW SUMMERFIELD — Darby, who is 92-years old, will be recognized at halftime of the boys game.

That contest should tip off at 6 p.m., following  a girl's game between the two conference rivals.

A Hornet win on Friday would give New Summerfield (8-0 in District 21-A-I) a two-game lead (and the loop's crown) over second-place Alto with only one regular-season game left to be played next week.

The Hornets are coached by Jason Davis.
