PORT ARTHUR — The Jaguars of Jacksonville College were soundly defeated by host Lamar State-Port Arthur on Saturday afternoon.
The fnal score was 97-72 in favor of the Seahawks.
JC, Lamar St., Lee and Angelina all have 7-5 conference records.
The Jags are 16-7 overall, while the Seahwks improve to 17-6.
The JC men will look to to return to the winning column at 7 p.m. Tuesday when they entertain San Jacinto (17-4, 8-4).
