EUSTACE — The win came in a Class 4A, Region II, bi-district game that was played at Eustace High school.
Jacksonville (33-1) moves on to face McKinney North at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Lancaster ends the year with a 14-18 slate.
That game is tentatively set to be played at either Wills Point High School, or at Emory-Rains High School.
The last ride of the night turned out to be the most spectacular ride of the evening Wednesday night when Austin Meier scored an 87 for his ride atop "Rainbow" in the final segment of bull riding on the opening night of the Tops In Texas PRCA Rodeo.
Brook Hill used a three run sixth inning to get past Bryan Brazos Christian, 7-5, in the TAPPS 3A State Championship baseball game that took place in Waco Wednesday afternoon.
Brook Hill and Bryan Brazos Christian are tied (2-2) after four and a half innings in the TAPPS Class 3A Champinship game, which has been moved to Waco from Belton due to inclement weather.
Field conditions have improved at Mary Hardin Baylor University in Belton and baseball is being played.
