35-4A Girls Soccer: Jacksonville clobbers Center, 5-0

Jeffcoat gets hat trick in final appearance at Tomato Bowl

JACKSONVILLE — The Maidens led 2-0 at halftime before exploding for three additional tallies in the last half.

Other scorers for Jacksonville were, Kelley Crosby and Callie Reagan.

Reagan worked as goal keeper in the opening half and stopped Center's lone shot on goal.

The Maidens completed the clean-sheet victory after Jasmin Rodriquez held the Lady 'Riders in check during the finall 40 minutes of play.

The Maidens held a 30-1 shots on goal advantage over Center.

Jacksonville will open the Class 4-A Region III playoffs by taking on College Station at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Waco ISD Stadium.

The Maidens finished fourth in the regular-season standings.
