OKLAHOMA CITY —
Bullard’s Brodie Greene belted a home run to help Texas A& M beat Missouri 7-2 Thursday to clinch a spot in the Big 12 Baseball Tournament final opposite Baylor (33-21). That game will take place beginning at 1 p.m. today.
The Aggies (38-19-1), seeded No. 4, defeated Texas Tech 9-2 on Wednesday and were scheduled to face Texas on Saturday, but the Longhorns, the tourney top seed, already have two losses in pool play and cannot tie the Aggies.
No. 8-seed Missouri drops to 28-26 on the year.
Kevin Gonzalez, Joe Patterson and Joaquin Hinojosa each had two hits for the Aggies. Gonzalez also had two RBI.
Barret Loux (10-2) pitched seven strong innings for A&M, allowing just six hits and two earned runs.
Texarkana’s John Stilson hurled two innings of shutout relief for the Aggies.
Russell LaFleur led the Tigers with two hits.
Kelly Fick (2-2) was tagged with the loss after 2 1/3 innings of work to start the game.
