Zach Eschberger threw a perfect game in Bullard's 14-0 win over Mabank Thursday in the Van 1-20 Baseball Classic.
The game was called after four innings due to the 10-run rule.
The No. 18-ranked (texashighschoolbaseball.com) Panthers were not so fortunate in their second game of the day.
Host Van edged the Panthers, 3-2.
Bullard (9-2) will wrap up play in the tourney today.
The Panthers will open District 16-3A play at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday by hosting Kilgore.

After two live quarters and a pair of 10-minute running-clock periods the first Jacksonville Blue vs. White spring football scrimmage since 2004 ended in a 107-107 tie Friday night at Tomato Bowl.
