Bullard's Holladay qualifies for state power lifting meet

RUSK — The win qualifies Holladay, a senior, for the upcoming state power lifting meet.

Holladay, who committed to play football for the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton last week, lifted a total of 20 lbs. more than the second-place finisher, Joseph Clark of Chapel Hill.

Hollady squatted 500 lbs, had a bench press topping out at 315 lbs.and had  a dead lift of 525 lbs.

Texarkana Liberty Eylau won the team cahmpionship with 30 points, followed by Center (24) and Emory Rains (20).

Bullard lifters totaled 12 points, which put the Panthers in seventh place.
