NEW CHAPEL HILL — On Friday the Tribe nine collected wins over T. K. Gorman (9-1) and Arp (8-0) before losing to host Chapel Hill, 9-2.
The Indians are 3-2 on the year.
Jeff Pryor hurled a complete-game win for the Indians in the T. K. Gorman game. He gave up just three hits and struck out four.
Brayden Rawlinson and Cash Cleaver had two hits each to pace the indians at the plate.
In the Arp game Michael Sexton was credited with a complete-game victory for Jacksonville.
Brett Eckles had Jacksonvile's only hit in the loss to Chapel Hill.
