RUSK — Drew Walley and Huston Munsinger had a pair of hits apiece as Rusk improved to 7-10 on the year.

Munsinger also drove in two runs.

Rusk out hit Madisnville 10-6, with the Mustangs committing six errors in the game.

The game was tied at three going into the bottom of the fifth.

Rusk then plated three runs in the frame, which turned out to be enough to earn the Eagles the win.

Josh Raiborn worked six-strong innings and fanned seven Mustangs to collect the pitching win.

The Eagles return to District 19-3A play at 7 p.m. Tuesday by hosting Groesbeck. Both Groesbeck and Rusk are tied at 2-0 in the conference standings.
