Eden sisters combine for 11 kills as Brook Hill topples GCA

BULLARD — Erica and Alyssa Eden of Jacksonville combined for 11 kills — Alyssa Eden led the way with seven — as Brook Hill scored a decisive 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-11) win over Garland Christian Academy Thursday evening in Bullard. Amy Jo Teague chipped in with nine kills for the Lady Guard also. Defensively, Brook Hill was paced by the play of M.C. Selden (17 digs) and Carley Howard (10 digs). Brook Hill now improves to 4-7 overall, 2-0 in district action. Coach Amanda Reed’s Lady Guard continue with league play Tuesday when they travel to Dallas Shelton for a 6 p.m. match.
