JACKSONVILLE — Rusk defeated the Goats of Groesbeck 45-36 on Friday night in Groesbeck to improve to 3-2 in District 19-3A.
The Eagles are home tonight with Mexia providing the opposition for a 7:30 tip-off at Eagle Coliseum.
With only three conferecne games remaining, the Eagles will need a win tonight to keep their playoffs alive.
Rusk soundly defeated the Blackcats in the two teams' first meeting earlier this season.
The evening 's action gets under way at 5 p.m. with the varsity girls' contest.
