FRANKSTON — Alto got back on the winning track by taking an impressive 18-13 non-conference victory over Frankston (Class 2A) at Jeff and Opal Shaw Stadium in Frankston Friday night.
The Yellowjackets, ranked No. 9 in the current Class A poll, improve to 3-1 on the year while the Indians drop to 2-2.
Head coach Keith Gardner’s Mean Sting open District 20-A play on the road Friday when they are slated to face the Sandies of Grapeland in a 7:30 p.m. kick off.
Meanwhile, Frankston will conclude the non-league portion of their schedule by traveling to Hemphill Friday.
