JACKSONVILLE —
Trinity Valley Community College came in the Curtis Carroll Fieldhouse Saturday afternoon and took a sobering 86-76 win over Jacksonville College, in the final game of the fall semester for the Purple and White.
The Cardinals (11-4, 2-2 in Region XIV) led by six points at halftime.
The loss was JC's second league setback of the year on its home deck — Navarro topped the Jags in the conference opener, previously.
The JC men are now 9-5 overall and 1-3 in Region XIV.
JC is next to last in the South Zone standings, with only Blinn (6-7, 0-4) having a worse record than the Jags.
The next action for the JC men will come on Jan. 3, 2013 when the Jags host the East Texas Flight (non NJCAA) at 7:30 p.m.
Two days afterwards the Jags will dive back into league play with a game in Carthage against Panola College (7-7, 0-4).
