RUSK — The Rusk Eagles have placed several players onto the recently-announced District 18-3A All-District team; highlighted by senior-guard Michael Katon being choosen as the league’s Outstanding Offensive Player.
Kalen Skinner and Taj Cleaver, also seniors, earned First Team mention while senior, John David Beard and junior, Derrick Sanders, appear on the Second Team slate. The league’s Honorable Mention list includes Delshawn Session, DeMarrio Richards and Blake Fletcher.
Four Eagles, Beard, Cleaver, Session and Brandon Downs made the Academic All-District Team.
