JACKSONVILLE — Three Marshall pitchers combined to toss a no-hitter as the Mavericks beat Jacksonville, 16-0, in a game that was called after five frames due to the mercy rule.
The non-district contest was played Tuesday night in Jacksonville.
Brandon Fitzgerald, Sam Rogers and Trey Rogers combined efforts on the hump for the Mavs.
Marshall collected eight hits in the game.
The Indians will look to regroup when they host Arp at 6 p.m. Friday.
