TYLER — Navarro clipped Paris, 55-46, to earn the Region XIV men's basketball championship, while Trinity Valley put away Tyler, 88-71, to claim the women's title.
The championship matchups were played Monday evening at the UT-Tyler Herrington Center.
The Bulldogs came in as the No.2 seed while the Lady Cards were seeded No. 1.
Both schools will represent the conference in the NJCAA National Championship Tournament later this month.
