JACKSONVILLE —
For the second year in-a-row Jacksonville College will be expanding its athletic menu.
Lynn Nabi, the school’a athletic director officially notified the NJCAA as well as the NJCAA Region XIV presidents and athletic directors Wednesday morning of the school’s intent on fielding men’s and women’s soccer teams, beginning in the Fall of 2013.
Rafael Gonzalez, former head soccer coach at Lon Morris College, has been hired to coach the JC teams.
A formal announcement, along with Gonzalez’ introduction will take place on Friday morning, according to Nabi.
