BULLARD — On a cold December night last year in a Brook Hill state playoff game in Bullard against Flower Mound Coram Deo, one of the Guard's senior wideouts, Travis Pirtle, suffered a gruesome injury that was nauseating to witness as he lay in agony near a hushed Brook Hill sideline.
