From Moscow to Madison via Jacksonville: Kryuchkova’s 6000-mile journey a success

JACKSONVILLE — Daria Kryuchkova (CRY ooch kova) is a good example of what can happen when opportunity joins forces with an unwavering work ethic and raw determination.

The Jacksonville College sophomore,  a 6-foot-3 post player, had her final batch of transfer paper work approved by the NCAA last week, meaning that she will become a member of the University of Wisconsin (Big 10 conference, NCAA Division I) women's basketball team in mid May.
