Groesbeck took advantage of seven Rusk errors to down the Eagles 5-1 Tuesday night at Eagle Park.
The Goats (3-1 19-3A) are now in sole possession of first place in the loop standings.
Rusk (7-11, 2-1) is tied with Palestine for second place.
Michael Crews had two hits to lead Rusk, while Drew Walley and Houston Munsinger had a hit a piece.
Crews worked 5.1 innings and fanned nine Groesbeck batters.
