BULLARD —
The next stop fo the Bullard Reds (14U) baseball team will be the Texas Teenage Baseball/Softball Association district tournament, which opens Monday in Jacksonville.
The winner of that tournament will move on to the state tournament, which will be hosted by Brownwood on July 23-27.
The Reds breezed through league play with a 10-0 record, having outscored thier foes a whopping 118-11.
This is the second year in-a-row that the Reds’ have cruised through loop play with a spotless worksheet.
Team members are, Sloan Rodberg, Zac Spears, Donovan Yeley, Peyton Miller, Joshua Chewning, Reid Hill, Dillin Nolen, Peyton Taylor, Jake Langston, Brandon Mullican, Ty Miller, Drake Daly and Kris McCune.
Brent Miller is the team’s head coach, with Randy Spears, Taelor Brewer, Jim Hill and Todd Chewning serving as assistant coaches.

The last ride of the night turned out to be the most spectacular ride of the evening Wednesday night when Austin Meier scored an 87 for his ride atop "Rainbow" in the final segment of bull riding on the opening night of the Tops In Texas PRCA Rodeo.
