Three Rivers thwarts Navarro's title hopes

Region XIV's 'Dogs fall, 76-68

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Three Rivers Community College ended Navarro College's title hopes by defeating the Bulldogs, 76-68, Friday night in a semi-final contest of the NJCAA National Championship Tournament. The Bulldogs, the Region XIV champions, will play either Northwest Florida State or Wallace State at 6 p.m. Saturday in the third-place game at the Hutchinson, Kan. Sports Arena. Three Rivers moves on to Saturday's title game.
