TYLER — Brook Hill whipped up on East Texas Christian Academy, winning 20-0, in a non-district game played in Tyler on Tuesday.
The contest was reduced to four innings due to the mercy rule.
The Guard (9-4) scored six times in the opening frame, and seven in both the second and third innings while banging out 22 hits.
J. B. Moss rocketed out a two-run homer in the third inning and A. J. Minter had a pair of triples for Brook Hill.
Jake Beam added three doubles for the Guard, who return to action at 6 p.m. Friday against John Tyler in a game that is scheduled for Mike Carter Field.
Tyler Burton got the win on the mound for Brook Hill. Burton allowed just two Panther hits in the game.
