At 6 p.m. Friday at the Central Heights Gymnasium, the Lady Hornets will take on a formidable opponent, the Lady Eagles from Zavalla.
Zavalla is 29-6 on the year and us ranked No. 15 in this week's Class A-I Texas Association of Basketball Coaches weekly poll.
Zavalla won the District 23-A-I title and had a first-round playoff bye.
The District 16-3A champion Bullard Lady Panthers (24-9) will collide with No. 15-ranked Pittsburg at 6 p.m. Friday at Lindale's Eagle Gymnasium, in a Class 3-A, Region II, Area affair.
Pittsburg (28-5) got past Quinlan-Ford, 55-38, on Tuesday to advance to play Bullard.

Bullard, who garnered an opening-round free pass, already has a win over Pittsburg this season, as the Lady Panthers won 40-27 back on Dec. 8, 2012, in a game that was played in Bullard.
Bullard has lost only one game in 2013, and that came at the hands of Kilgore (54-41) in District 16-3A action.
