JHS girls open playoffs Monday night in Mabank

MABANK —  Jacksonville will face off against Mansfield Summit in a Class 4A, Region II girl’s bi-District game that is scheduled to be played at 6:30 p.m. Monday night at Mabank High School.

The Lady Jaguars (21-12) won a seeding game against Red Oak on Friday night and will represent District 15-4A as the second-place team.

Head coach Tony Harris’ Maidens (18-15) will represent District 16-4A as the third-place team.

Mansfield Summit won the Class 4A state championship last year, with several of those players being key contributors this season.
