District champ Indians close out regular season Tuesday

JHS (32-0) to visit hostile confines at John Tyler

JACKSONVILLE — The Jacksonville Indians, 32-0 and ranked No. 10 in Class 4A, will close out the regular season on Tuesday by trekking up to Tyler to face John Tyler, the loop's second-place team.

Tip-off for the varisty game should take palce around 7:30 p.m. at the Lion's Den.

First game on the card will feature the two school's junior varisty clubs at 5 p.m., followed by the 9th-grade game at 6:15 p.m.

Jacksonville wrapped up the District 16-4A tilte on Friday, after minting a 49-35 win over Whitehouse.

The Indians will open the state playoffs early next week against either Mansfield Lake Ridge or Lancaster.
