Monday final day to renew Jacksonville season tickets

JACKSONVILLE — The clock is ticking down fast for those who have yet to renew their Jacksonville High School football season tickets for 2012.

According to Deena Brand of the JISD Athletic Department, fans have until 4:30 p.m. Monday to make arrangements to reserve their season passes.

In accordance with District 16-4A policies, season ticket packets are priced at $30.00 each.

The Tribe have five home games scheduled for this fall.

Jacksonville will take on Palestine (Sep. 7), Henderson (Sep. 21), Marshall (Sep. 28), Whitehouse (Oct. 19) and Lindale (Nov. 2) at the Tomato Bowl this season.

The Marshall game will serve as the school's annual homecoming contest.

Those interested in purchasing season tickets for the first time may phone the Fieldhouse (903) 586-2131 (Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) to be put on the list.

Brand said as of Thursday afternoon season ticket renewals were running on par with last year.
