SUGAR LAND, Texas — Regardless of the fact that the Rusk High School softball team has won all 11 of its District 17-3A games that it has played this season, head caoch Ashley Renner’s ladies dropped from No. 24 last week to being one of 11 honorable mention teams in this week’s Texas Girls Coaches Association State Class 3A Softball Poll, which came out late Tuesday afternoon.
