BULLARD —
Corbin Howard and Scott Lowrie of Bullard were named to the 16-3A all-district boys basketball team, after a poll of the league's bench bosses.
Both young men were First Team selections.
Representing the Panther squad on the Second Team were Chandler Clark and Hunter Landrum.
Michael Harris from Chapel Hill was the league's Most valuable Player.
Bothe the Offensive Player of the Year (Julius Hill) and the Defensive Player of the Year (D.D. Mumphrey) were also members of the Chapel Hill team.
Kilgore's Xavier Gaona was named as Newcomer of the Year, with Chapel Hill's Robert Sampson being picked as Coach of the Year.
Sampson, who guided the Bulldogs to a 22-10 record and the league title, previously coached at Bullard.

Brook Hill used a three run sixth inning to get past Bryan Brazos Christian, 7-5, in the TAPPS 3A State Championship baseball game that took place in Waco Wednesday afternoon.
