BULLARD —

The Bullard High School tennis team wrapped up its fall District 16-4A schedule by coming up just a tad short to a talented Kilgore squad on Tuesday.

The Bullard boys won three singles matches on the afternoon.

Hunter Wages took care of Takashi Thomas (6-3, 6-4), Cameron Sanson prevailed over Sanjit Lanka (6-3, 4-6, (10-7)) and Landen Beckham smoked Corey Tidwell (6-0, 6-1).

In boys doubles play, Panther tennis' Sanson & Wages topped Thomas & Lanka (8-4) while Zach Wingate & Beckham dispatched Heil & Best (8-6).

Cody Cole and Cody Hutson teamed up to edge Knutsen & Tidwell 9-7 to earn Bullard's final point.

Bullard tennis will conclude its fall schedule by hosting Wills Point at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
