This government option is a mockery and has never been more obvious and delusional than now. A year of deception has taken the punch out of this so-called reform. It could have been economically frugal and might have brought health care to all. The greedy powers that be, who lay hidden and lurking in the shadows of our puppet senators and representatives dictating their deceptive rhetoric with the lure of their deep pockets and ambiguous selfish agendas, are pulling all the strings. What chance do we have for real change when every real, honest bill, such as the nonprofit HR 676, is politically battered by lies, paid for by lobbyists of the rich insurance gamblers of our health care, at the rate of six to one, spoken from the mouths of those serving to represent us?
Capitalism has a place in our society, but not when it comes to our health care. The AMA and AARP should be ashamed for contributing to these lies that claim to bring change to our evil flesh-pushing, for-profit system. As long as it makes money for Wall Street investors, it is considered a good treatment.
I’m ashamed of our country.

P.S.: Please don’t call this a free society. That ship has sailed.
