Patti Ruth Bailey, 84, passed away at her residence in Jacksonville on Dec. 2, 2012.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Dec. 4 at Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Patti was born in College Mound, Texas on Jan. 10, 1928, the daughter of Bill Henry Bailey and Elizabeth Ann Bailey.
She is survived by brothers, Bill Bailey and wife, Jackie of Jacksonville and Paul Bailey and wife, Thelma of Sulphur Springs, and a sister, Katherine Parsley and husband, Dwight of Tyler.
Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Martin and Stacy Parsley, Marlynne and David Finch, Becky Bailey-Hesterley, Louanne and Stan Lewis, Jill and Mack Swink, Jan and Tim Lewis, Beth Bailey-Alexander, Rick Bailey and David Bailey, and many great nieces and nephews.
Also special to Patti was Rose Barrios, caregiver and friend who for the last 10 years made every day a truly special day in Patti’s life, and Rose’s granddaughter, Jessica Jimerson and friend George Steding.
Patti was born a special child and Good placed her on this earth for a very specific reason: to be a blessing to anyone who crossed her path. She did not have the best communication skills, her legs didn’t always support her, her mind protected her from the junk in this world but her heart was huge and generous. We will miss Patti but we are grateful that God has taken her home and she is running and playing with a perfect body and basking in the glory of Heaven.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful people at Senior Care (which was Patti’s home) and Heart To Heart Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to College Mound United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 793, Terrell, TX. 75160.
