JACKSONVILLE —
Funeral services for Vera Mae Myers, age 96, of Troup, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tues., Nov. 20, at First Baptist Church, Mixon.
Rev. Jerry Hawbaker and Rev. Chris Cliborn will officiate. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Myers passed away Sun., Nov. 18, 2012 in Jacksonville.
She was born Aug. 2, 1916 in Troup. Mrs. Myers was a member of First Baptist Church, Mixon and was a retired Bookkeeper for Troup Hardware. She also taught school.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, H. B. Myers, a son, Richard Myers, her parents, James Henry and Mary Palmer, .
Survivors include: son, James David Myers and wife Patty, of Troup, three daughters, Norma Robinson, Rusk, Carolyn Graham, Troup, and Phyllis Moss and husband Rodney J. of Mt Selman. There are 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her Grandsons
The family received friends for visitation from 6-8 p.m. Mon., Nov. 19, at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
