Memorial services for Ronnie Patrick Reed, age 71, of Dallas, formerly of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sat., Nov. 24, at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville.
Ronnie Patrick Reed died peacefully Nov. 3, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.
He was born in Ironton and attended high school in Jacksonville. He enlisted in the Army National Guard of Texas, where he was deployed to active duty. For several years he lived in Greenville, where he worked, and retired, from E-Systems as a machinist.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Ruby Reed and Lois Anderson, as well as a sister, Frances Reed.
He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Reed Laurent, two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Zachary, a sister, Sarah Traylor and brother-in-law Mike Traylor, and several nieces and nephews.
