JACKSONVILLE —
Funeral services for Myrtle Snell, age 83, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville,Texas with Darrell Dement officiating.
Burial will be held at Meador Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Snell passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 in Jacksonville.
She was born January 6, 1929 in Abilene, Texas.
Mrs. Snell was retired from American General Life Houston. She was a member of Sunset Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Snell; parents, Albert and Venus Taylor; sister, Alice Marie Taylor Tidwell.
Survivors include her step daughter, Tina Marie Phillips of Houston; 2 sisters, Betty Jo Lloyd and husband Casey and Frances Taylor both of Jacksonville, 3 grandchildren Courtney Griffin, Nicole Miller, and Jacob Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 until service time at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
