JACKSONVILLE —
Funeral services for B. F. Simmons, age 85, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville with Rev. Charles Nunnally officiating.
Burial will be held at Walker’s Chapel Cemetery, Reklaw.
Mr. Simmons passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 in Arlington.
He was born August 31, 1927 in Spur, TX.
Mr. Simmons served in the United States Army during World War II, member of the V.F.W., and was formerly an electrician for the City of Austin.
He is preceded in death by his wife Nora Simmons and daughter Tina Simmons.
Survivors include his daughter Sue Kinderknecht and husband Tom of Ft. Worth; sister Helen Traylor of Ponta; two grandchildren Brian Kinderknecht and wife Karie of San Antonio and Tim Kinderknecht of Austin; and one great grandson William Kinderknecht.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Beckham, Paul Traylor, Steven Traylor, Kenneth Jackson, Richard Holcomb, Robert Holcomb and Glenn Hugghins.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Monday, September 24, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
