GALLATIN — Funeral services for Lottie Mae Dement Garner, age 94, of Gallatin, were held at 4:00 pm Monday, August 13, 2012 at Gallatin Missionary Baptist Church with

Rev. Robin Parsons and Rev. Jack White officiating.

Burial was held at Jarratt Cemetery, Jacksonville.

Services were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.

Mrs. Garner passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 in Jacksonville.

She was born January 26, 1918 in Gallatin, Texas.

Mrs. Garner was a member of the Gallatin Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her husband Willie Dock Garner, step daughter Jo Ann Wimberly, step son Bubba Garner, sons Willie Ray Garner and Jerry Lynn Garner, daughter and son-in-law Barbara Helen and Travis Welch, son-in-law Paul Hubbard, grandsons Travis Dean Welch, Bryant McKinney, and Jimmy Dean Garner, and granddaughter Barbara Ann Hassell.

Survivors include her daughters Nettie Mae Hubbard of Rusk and Mary Jean McKinney of Gallatin; daughters-in-law Cheryl Garner of Rusk and Lucille Garner of Hempstead; brother Tom Dement and wife Shirley of Craft; sister Alline Morris of Gallatin; twelve grandchildren Jennifer and Matthew Neeley, Becca Garner Housington, Jerry Paul Hubbard and wife Tammy, Donald Ray and Ginger Hubbard, Tommy Lynn McKinney, Rick and Cyndi McKinney, Rebecca and Timothy Renfroe, Leroy Garner, Jr., Glenn Garner, Dee Ann Wimberly, Donnie Wimberly, and Richard Wimberly; thirty great-grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were James Thomas Morris, Curtis Hanson, Kerry Cruse Turner, David Tylich, Lawrence Dement, Gregg Johnson, Don Garner and Allen Garner.

Visitation with the family was from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
