JACKSONVILLE —
Funeral services for Marjorie Banks Williamson, age 84, of Rusk are scheduled for 2 p.m., Fri., March 15 in First Baptist Church in Rusk with Rev. Donnie Barron and Rev. Bill Everett officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk.
Mrs. Williamson died March 12, 2013 in a Jacksonville hospital. She was born March 20, 1928 in Rusk to the late Edgar Forrest Banks and Beatrice Spain. Mrs. Williamson was a lifelong resident of Rusk and a longtime employee of Mathews-Miller and Whitehead Enterprises. She was a member and very active in the First Baptist Church in Rusk, loved to travel and also loved needlework and crocheting.
Preceded in death by two brothers, J.A. and Butch Banks; four sisters, Annie Jones, Freddye Dear White, Bobbie Penn and  Ginger Hatfield. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Joe K. Williamson of Rusk and a whole host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will include Robert Penn, Ray Penn, Rudy Penn, Ricky Penn, Mike Dear and Bob Hatfield. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thurs., March 14 at the funeral home.
