CORINTH —
Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie Black, age 87, of Corinth, Tx, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 8, 2012 at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Foreman officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Black was born March 4, 1924, in Mixon, Tx to Richard Cecil and Sally Vera Long Roark. She grew up in Mixon and had lived in Athens and various other East Texas areas. She was a housewife and past president of the Ladies Auxilary of the V.F.W. In Jacksonville. She was a Baptist. She died on February 5, 2012 in Corinth, Texas.
Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hugh black and two sisters. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard L. and Berdyne Hill of Houston and Bennie G. Jay of Houston, two daughters and son-in-law, Janis and Mark Reis of San Antonio and Carol and Rudy Lopez of Corinth, seven granddaughters and seven great grandchildren.
Visitations will be Tuesday evening, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
